From all possible places, I've never thought one of the best burgers in the world (according to Bloomberg) would be in a gas station in Copenhagen. Being the only feature in the Nordics, I already expected it to cause impact.
At first, the place looks curious as you are standing in a huge line of hungry people, between what probably used to be a convenience shop and a gasoline pump. No joke.
The menu is simple: burgers and fries. Ranging from cheese, butter or a veggie mushroom option. Paddies are from organic beef and v-e-r-y juicy.
Sauces are available and delicious, my suggestion is Gasoline Sauce or Remolaude (can't get more Danish than that).
The burgers are not huge, so if you are really hungry or doesn't get satisfied so easily it might be better to order two.
Combos are a nice option, and you will honestly have a hard time to find an organic beef burger with drink and fries for less than 100 DKK around the city.
Unfortunately there is no indoor sitting, which is really a problem in Winter days. But this is a GREAT take away to eat at Kongens Have in a nice sunny day.
I wish they were open until late, it would be the perfect munchies food after a few beers. But they don't have regular opening hours, they close when the food is over — which is usually really soon.
Oh Gasoline, I'm totally pumped about you.
